Final Airport Goodbye's

Bittersweet time: Saying good-bye to our beloved Elders is hard, but we are so excited for the family greeting them on the other side.

President Moodly from the Bedfordview Stake Presidency has come out to say goodbye to Elders he has worked with. How fortunate we are to have such wonderful members  and church leaders to associate with.
After our first airport drop, we had 6 Elders from Africa stay over on Tuesday night waiting for their Wednesday morning flights. So, we got one more night with everyone around the kitchen table. We had a great dinner together.

Below are some photos from our second run to the airport on Wednesday.
Pack 'em up and get moving...7 am

Elder Wilombe has a younger brother who got released from the Durban airport on the same day and we all met up at the Johannesburg Airport. How fun to see them together.

We said goodbye first to Elder Dzowa and Elder Mwale headed to Malawi!
Lastly, we bid farewell to Elder Kwabaisi, Elder Watenga and Elder Natwijuka
Below are some random photos that were taken.
Elder Clegg grabbed a few pictures with those leaving on Tuesday night for North America!

Elder Thomas Graham had the good fortune of having his parents pick him up. They traveled for 2 weeks and left for Highland, Utah on Monday May 2, 2016. We had a chance to host a final lunch for them and say good-bye. What great people. We have been honored to serve alongside Elder Graham.
One last photo opp!

  2. Hahaha! Leaving mission it feels like your leaving Eden, where you can't return.
