Meet the New Mission Presidency

On Wednesday July 30, 2015, we welcomed the new counselors to the South Africa Johannesburg Mission to the mission home for a dinner and training.

There has been 1 counselor for the first year, serving primarily in the Limpopo area and the Tzaneen District. It was helpful to focus on that area for a counselor, because it is a mission dependent district. Since July 1, 2015, the boundary change takes the Tzaneen District into the Botswana Namibia Mission and that need no longer exists.

Our wonderful counselor, Elder Larry Hansen is now part of the Botswana Namibia Mission serving with President and Sister Wilson. Elder Harward had previously been a counselro before his release. We thank both the Hansen's and Harward's  for their amazing service as counselors in the mission presidency.

So, names were submitted for counselors, approval granted and calls issued. Tonight we are delighted to officially welcome two new counselors and link arms to move the mission forward.

President Sibongiseni Ephraim Msane
1st Counselor
                            Ephraim and Nomthanbazo

President Garth Klintworth
2nd Counselor
.
Michelle and Garth

We are so excited to have them joining with us and look forward to ways their leadership, insight and perspective will move things forward.
We enjoyed a working dinner, while we went over all the mission opportunities for them to participate with. It will be a great boon to the mission to get these wonderful men and their wives to be involved. We had a wonderful dinner and training with them and our Assistants joined us at the end to have everyone meet and be acquainted.
The Dunns, The Klintworths, the Msane's.
We feel so fortunate to link arms with these great people in this great cause.

  1. Hi my name is Megan and I'm a member in Logan, UT. I have a non-member friend (who has investigated the church) going to Nairobi, Kenya soon and he was looking for a contact to find out information. I was trying to find out the email address of the mission president and wondered if you had President Msane's email? Thanks!
