Visiting Vosloorus

On Sunday May 31, 2015, we spent the last day of the month attending a sacrament meeting and baptism in the Vosloorus Ward in the Bedfordview Stake.

Once again, we had the sweet chance to be intimately involved in a second baptism in less than a month.

Above is the wonderful family, we were able to participate with a few weeks ago. President Dunn had the chance to baptize this family and challenge them to be at the temple in a year, to be sealed as a married couple.Today they brought their niece from the Eastern Cape to church with them. What a strong family.

So, today another wonderful father, Daniel Pelo,  entered the waters of baptism. This was especially sweet because he has been investigating the church for over three years. His wife is a member and she has been praying for this day to come.

Here is Daniel after the baptism with President Dunn and Elder Ndwande. This great missionary was able to teach Daniel and he made such an immediate bond. It was very tender.

Here are those getting baptized with family members today. Below is Daniel and his darling family. Also, Mary Mnguni is pictured here in her baptismal clothes, along with her son, who is baptizing her.

Missionaries gathered to together with baptism friends and families.

Many members stayed after church for the baptism. It was crowded in the baptismal font room. Great spirit was there.

It was touching to  witness how much support and love Daniel received. Everyone was so happy for them and lined up to tell him. They also hosted food and refreshment after in Daniel's honor. President Dunn challenged them and we are planning with them to be at the temple with them as they are sealed as a family in a year from now.
