Bears and Prayers

On Sunday June 21, we celebrated Father's Day and enjoyed a sacrament service in the Ruimsig ward. The Young Women in the ward made gingerbread cookies for all the Fathers.
As delicious as they look! I am happy on this Father's Day that President Dunn survived a bear attack 21 years ago. I am happy that he could pause and appreciate this day by giving another bear talk and sharing his testimony about God in the details of our lives.
A group of missionaries and members that met us at the Kempton Park Ward for the Fireside.
Elders Pick-up, Nelson, Gwaka, Nelson
and Eugene & Bianca, Marc & Jailyn and last but not least,
Elder Henley sporting his cool SAJM messenger bag!
Eugene and Marc Jackson with Bianca and Jailyn
They helped to plan the fireside and helped with set up and advertising.
We then had a chance to participate in a Kempton Park Fireside for members and investigators. President Dunn offered another Bears and Prayers Fireside.
People starting to file in.

Elder Brasher, Elder Pick-Up and Elder Larsen

So happy to join with these great couples. We have done fun things together.
The fireside was well attended and a great thing to offer on Father's Day.
