Roodepoort- Close to home!

Wednesday October 12, 2016
Zoning In with Roodepoort
Elder Avarell and  Elder Turauskis set  up a great day for us.

Started off meeting our zone leaders, Elder Avarell and Elder Turauskis for a baptismal interview of Amanda who is getting baptized this Sunday. A nice way to start our day in Roodepoort. Brother van Zyl is a great example of magnifying your calling as a ward mission leader.

We then were able to study with Elder Luweire and Elder Daniels, who he is training. We shared insights about teaching the Restoration. We role played for almost an hour and it was so engaging and more like “real play.”  We really loved being with these two missionaries.

Elder Luweire is training Elder Daniels, who just arrived this transfer.

Their flat is in such a nice area. We were impressed with how they were taking care of everything.

We left and followed our Randfontein Elders into their area for a teaching appointment.
Elder Wolfgramm and Elder Sousa did a wonderful job teaching a new investigator also about the Restoration.

They tracted out this investigator and are coming for their second lesson today.

They spoke Portuguese and a little English. How wonderful and coincidental that Elder Sousa speaks Portuguese. We really enjoyed participating as they two taught together.
Elder Sousa demonstrating about the Restoration by showing that if Christ and his Disciples go away, the church also falls into apostasy.  We really enjoyed participating as they two taught together. Elder Wolfgramm and Elder Sousa taught so well in tandem.

Their planner is full of appointments. It was great to be with these powerful missionaries.
