Mokopane Branch and the Brammer's Transition!

On Sunday March 1st, the Branch Presidency changed in Mokopane. The Brammer's have been there for the past 18 months serving. They have done an amazing job connecting with all the members. We had a special privilege to be there and see first hand of the love the branch has for the Brammer's and also the strength in the new leadership.
The new presidency is standing with the Brammer's in beautiful Mokopane. 1st Counselor, Brother Mabasa, President Mathipa and 2nd Counselor, Maluleka with Sister and Elder Brammer.
Sister Brammer took so many great photos of all the activities and events in the branch. She had two large bulletin boards covered and laminated with great photos. Impressive!
We were so honored to be part of this special day.  Mokopane is 2 hours from Johannesburg and it is a special place. We drove here a week ago to extend a call to President Mathipa, and then we had the privilege of returning today to announce the new Presidency on the Brammer's last Sunday here. Every seat was taken in this branch and many tears were shed to see the Brammer's leave.
These children showed up early to fulfull their special calling of facility managers. They come and set up chairs and put a hymn book at every place.  They take their calling very seriously.
Change is always difficult, but this new Presidency is ready to take on the task of caring and leading this branch.
We also hosted a dinner party in the mission home the night the Brammer's flew out. It was nice to gather with other senior couples from the office to share in sending the Brammer's off with appreciation and love for their dedicated service in Mokopane.

  1. Love seeing all these different areas! You do the best job highlighting people before they go home :)
