Picking up a son!

Elder Zac Anderson completed his mission on May 12th, but had the chance to stay on in South Africa for an additional week with his parents.
Steve and Leasa Anderson stayed with us for a night or two at the end of their stay in South Africa. They are form Bountiful, Utah and we really enjoyed getting to know them.
We had a fun evening on Sunday May 17th, as we invited the Van Der Hoven's over for dinner. Elder Anderson (Zac) had served as a zone leader in their ward and was able to connect with them often. So, it was fun to introduce the parents to our good friends, Lynne, Theo and Tyler.  Elder Worton is also pictured here. He and elder Anderson were companions as Zone Leaders in Centurion.

The night after the Anderson's left, we had some dinner guests from Salt Lake City. Lani, an architect and Kathleen, a designer, who both work for the LDS church in the temple department. They came here on business, so Jenny Cook arranged for a dinner gathering and I offered to host them at the mission home . It was fun for them to see the home that has housed the past 7 mission presidents.
