Another special Sunday in Kanymazane

On Sunday January 8, 2017 we found ourselves visiting the KaNymazane Branch. This was our second week in a row due to the memorial for Elder Latu last week and then the last day for Elder and Sister Card today. We started by being greeted by our wonderful missionaries, Elder Dionisu and Elder Andrews.

Sister Card is wearing a fun African skirt and scarf that was made for her by a member. Another member gave her the fabric awhile ago. She and Elder Card are so beloved in this branch.
Elder and Sister Card have made their mark in the KaNymazane Branch and left a legacy of love. They bore testimonies on this fast and testimony Sunday and headed back to Hurricane, Utah after a year of wonderful service.

After meeting with the Card's we headed to the Nelspruit Chapel for some needed interviews. One of them was with Peace, who turned in her mission papers today.  We will be excited to hear where she is called to serve.

We were also able to visit with Elder and Sister Black and so appreciate their service in Nelpsruit. They have already been here a year- and today is Elder Black's birthday! We love that our son Jeff and daughter in law Whitney were able to re-connect with the Blacks. They all lived in the same ward in SLC for a period of time while Jeff and Whitney were living in our home.
