Vaal Zoning In

On the last day of June we found ourselves int he Vaal District enjoying time with our great Elders serving in this part of the vineyard.
It takes about 2 hours to drive to this area called Ikageng.  En route we always spot something you would only see in Africa. I laughed at the size of this truck  and it's load and the two men riding in the very top of the truck.
Tuck shops are on most corners in the townships, trying to see something to someone!
A random goose is seen on a front lawn.
Hair salons are as prevalent as tuck shops.
Passing by our window are always lots of people on foot. These EFF followers seemed to be anxious to pass along the political information they espouse to. Below are our Klerksdorp and Jouberton Elders, L-R
Elder Kilgore, Elder Daki, Elder Jangao and Elder Opolot.
We had the opportunity to study for an hour with Elder Jangao and Elder Kilgore

We discussed and shared scriptures about effective teaching tips from Preach My Gospel.
Elder Kilgore and Elder Jangao are on the very last weeks of their 12 week training period together.

Elfer Opolot and Elder Daki are fortunate to share this 4 man house with the others. It even has a lemon tree in the backyard.
They also have a patio and a Braai. They seemed to be excited to get visitors.:)

President Dunn sharing some thoughts and getting ideas and feedback form these great Elders.

Later we drove to Potchefstroom and went on a teaching appointment with Elder Sousa and Elder Bonifaz.

We ended up meeting and teaching a woman named Faith.

We loved being with these great Elders.

All in all, a great day in Ikageng.
