"Until We Meet Again" Party

On Saturday July 2nd we gathered together in honor of Bob and Martha Egan who will be leaving South Africa in a few weeks after serving 18 months as the In-Field Representative for all of Africa.  This is a big job to help all 30 mission presidents solve their most pressing issues. We have felt so blessed to serve with them.
We told them not to bring any food, since they were the guests of honor, but of course they came with the most beautiful bouquet of flowers for us to enjoy. So classy!
The best part of these gatherings is the chance to visit with everyone. We just never get enough time to do this in our various callings.
The Eppel's with President Ashton
As we welcomed everyone, we took a minute to highlight the Egan's service and asked them to share a few thoughts and reflections after dinner.

Look at the delicious dessert Sister Larson brought to share!
We enjoyed such a great meal together...
and of course desserts.
Love having the Jubber's with us......
and Elder and Sister Wells who serve in our mission office.
Sister Robison and Sister Walton came without companions and became each others for the evening!
We loved how comfortable Elder Pickup was sitting as the son between the Ashton's!
Thanks Elder and Sister Wells for coming early and bringing delicious cakes!
More dessert for everyone!
Loved getting the Lombardie's with us again.
It is alwasy nice to have tie after dinner to visit.
No one wanted to leave.
We loved hearing from the Egan's. They shared such sweet memories and what they will miss and take with them. We look so forward to staying in touch.
Loved getting Jen Robison with us. She has become such a dear friend and we have shared such cool opportunities to work together on service projects.
I caught Elder Dean and President Dunn on dish duty.
The kitchen clean up crew was amazing. I have my longtime friend Kim here visiting and her daughter in law,  Shauna Boyd. It was extra special to have them joining with us all.
