Mission President Tour

On November 17-19, 2015 the bi-annual South East Africa Mission President Seminar was held in Johannesburg for all 14 mission presidents of the South East Africa area. We gathered at the Hyatt regency in Rosebank near downtown Johannesburg for 3 days of meetings.
We are so blessed to have Carl B. Cook be serving as the Area President during our time here. He brings such great leadership to this area of the world. He and his wife Lynette have made us feel so welcome and we count them as dear, dear friends.
These 4 wonderful women came with me in July 2014 when we arrived in South Africa. We are a group that came together and will go home together. L-R Sister Merrill-Cape Town Sister Thomas, Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Sister Monga, Democratic Republic of the Congo.
It was nice to have a picture with the women with the Area Presidency and their wives.
The first evening we gathered at the "White House" where the Area Presidency lives and had a lovely catered dinner. Afterwards President Dunn gave the bear talk for everyone's entertainment. :) It was a fun way to gather together and enjoy an evening after our meetings.
On a free evening, we gathered with the Zachirson's from Durbin, the Erickson's from Zambia and the Merrill's from Cape Town.
On the last day we had an outing together.

We started at the Reptile Park and then went to the Lion Park. It is fun to hold the animals and touch them.

We also had a fun dinner together at Cheief Boma and enjoyed the company of all the other couples.
