Primary Program: "I know the scriptures are true"

On this beautiful summer morning on November 13, 2016, I headed to see the Centurion 1st Primary Program.

Elder Reynolds and Elder Wikaira serve here as the Centurion Zone Leaders. Lynne Dallendar is the Primary President in Centurion 1. I was happy to be with them today and to accompany them to the Gospel Essentials class after the Primary program.

The Primary Theme this year is I know the Scriptures are true. This primary program has all the kids photographed and everyone received a scripture tote as part of the year;s theme. They have brought their scriptures to church each week all year in this tote. So clever!

 

Sister Lynne Dallendar makes all this happen as Primary President. Behind her you can see displays of all the children, the primary newsletters for the year and the monthly themes. So impressive.

Parents and children loved seeing their individual pictures and the names of Book of Mormon prophets beside them.

A great day to visit. I loved being with this great group and seeing the primary teach the basic truths of the gospel. It also lunes up so nicely with our mission focus right now on reading the Book of Mormon. We are on day 56 and will end on Christmas Eve. SO, I loved this presentation and focus on the scriptures even more. Well done Dally!
