Wedding bells!

On Saturday March 26. 2016 we were invited to the Johannesburg temple to participate in the marriage sealing for Samkele Xalabile and his beautiful wife Wendy.
Elder Xalabile went home in October and served half of his mission in the SAJM. He came to us from the Sierra Leone Mission when the Ebola outbreak closed that mission. We were blessed to have him as a leader and great missionary.
They make a stunning couple and we were so honored to participate with their dear family and friends for this special occasion.

Here is Sam with his darling mother and nephew.

So wonderful to meet Bisho and Sister Xalabile. They all traveled over 10 hours in a van to  be able to be here.

Friends of the bride and groom. Wendy served a mission in Ghana and many friends were from her mission experience.

Friends and associates of Samkele.
Later in the day we met the wedding party at another wedding party! Elder Tyler Pulley went home last summer and he came back and is marrying Cathy from the Ridgeway Ward. He had an engagement party thrown for them on the very same day. These two Elders served together in KaNymazane and it was wonderful to see the reunion and be there with them.
Good friends and former companions.

former Elder Pulley! :)
Being greeted by the party organizers and family and friends.
Elaborate set up for the engagement party..much more like a wedding dinner format. Lots of love and attention to detail went into this event.

Tyler and Cathy were the queen and king of the evening and answered lots of questions about their relationship and engagement.
We wish them the best of luck as they move forward. We enjoyed this day of seeing 2 of our returned missionaries, return for their weddings.
