Look What's Cooking!

Look who made a homemade chocolate cake for an investigator family!  Elder Worton and Elder Koyle decided that a family has cooked so much for them, it was time to offer to bring dinner themselves. So, they decided to make a homemade chocolate cake and I was happy to offer my favorite recipe.


They also picked Chicken Fettucine Alfredo for the main dish. I am impressed with their cooking and serving skills.

I heard from a member the same day they made a cake, that our missionaries assigned to their ward, came to dinner and helped clean the kitchen before dinner was even started. The member was so appreciative of the Elders desire to serve and not just get fed. She made a point to call me and rave about them.

We hope more of our Elders use cooking as a way to show appreciation and service to members and investigators, as well as to each other!
