A London SAJM reunion!

I have been fortunate to spend a few days in London and able to connect with missionaries. I am sad that President Dunn was unable to accompany me, as he was finishing a business trip to France. He did FaceTime in as often as possible however.
I was able to travel out to the home of David and Jayd deKock Ryan and meet little River. It was splendid to see their home and go out to dinner.
My friend Serida Foss was so wonderful to accompany me and also host a lunch gathering for Zach and Amber Louw the next day. On Wednesday evening, October 16th, I met up with 3 missionaries at the Hyde Park Visitor's Center. What a treat to connect with returned missionaries that we love.
It made us reflect on each and every one of you and think about the special opportunity to serve together in a choice land. May you all feel of our love and most importantly the Savior's love for you. The gospel is not only a blessing for each of us to navigate this earthly life, but an eternal blessing for all that is ahead. We love you and loved being with such special people over the

Matthew Adams brought his cousin (who he baptized) and his girlfriend and also another friend from his ward. This group added to our meaningful connection.

We then went out to dinner at Nando's which was so fun and a little deja vu for all of us.

Meeting up with Jayd and David Ryan on Tuesday was also a huge highlight.

Meeting little River was so fun. Their house is darling.

SAJM Sunday night reunion

We loved hosting a Sunday September 29, 2019  SAJM casual reunion. A great chance to visit with missionaries and significant others. We send our love to all of you- near and far.

Looking forward to the upcoming conference.

BYU Devotional

On October 1st, Michael delivered the Tuesday devotional at BYU. It was such a pleasure to be able to accompany Mike and see first hand his humble preparation and feel the energy and spirit with which he delivered this message. We send this out to all who were not able to attend. We send our love to each and every one of you. This message is meant for all of us. What a great prelude to prepare us for the upcoming conference weekend.

We loved having Sean, Rachel and Ellie Pickup with us. Sean gave a wonderful opening prayer.

Taft Asay introduced us to his beautiful fiancee McKinley. They are getting married on November 2nd.

Loved seeing Tanner Todd (who has recently been in the new Book of Mormon productions- check out the 2nd episode and look for him) Great to be with Camron Wood and his girlfriend.

Tanner Clegg and his darling girlfriend Steph showed up and it was such a highlight to have them with us. Tanner should be the one to give a talk using the climbing metaphor. They both are avid climbers.

We went over to BYU Broadcasting after to have a reception with a little malva pudding. Michael and Karen Jensen joined us and we loved catching up.

Colin Davis- so thrilled to see him. We are so fortunate to have so many SAJMer's attending BYU.
