Happy New Year

On this first day of the New Year we send our love to all our beloved SAJM missionaries. We pray that this will be a great year for all and look forward to staying connected and getting reunited as we can throughout this year.

On this first day of the New Year...the world is round and the place whcih may seem like the end may also be only the beginning. ~Ivy Baker Priest

Life as a journey. Life as a safari. Life as a pilgrimage. Life as a garden. Life as the highest art.

Pathfinders. Prospectors. Pioneers. Explorers. Archaelogistis. Pilgrims. Poets. Sojourners. Gardeners. Artists of the Everyday.

Where aer we headed in 2018. We are headed home. Ithaka.
But before we arrive, there are vast worlds awaiting exploration. Worlds within. Worlds without. Earth. Heaven.

Heaven on Earth.

Sometimes the terrain is rocky and the slopes steep. Sometimes the jungle is thick and its interior very dark. Sometimes the water is deep and the waves extremely rough.

Chronologically we just ended a year, but now are beginning again.

New Year's Day. A fresh start. A new chapter in life waiting to be written. New questions to be asked, embraced and loved. Answers to be discovered.

Take a leap of faith and begin this wondrous new year by believing. Believe in yourself. and beleive that there is a loving Source- a Sower of Dreams- just waiting to be asked to help you make your dreams come true.

who passed away on December 24, 2017.
We will never forget his spirit and devotion to the Savior.

Elder Latu was the trainer for Elder Andrews when he passed away. He will never be forgotten.

Welcome Home Garrett Warnock

What a great way to end the year 2017- with a SAJM missionary homecoming!  We were delighted to be invited to attend Garrett Warnock's special day in the Suncrest Ward in Draper, Utah.
Dane Cowan was a companion to Garrett and we were thrilled to see him again and sit with him during the meeting, as well as attend the reception at his home following for family and close friends.

Garrett's mom and dad were so gracious in welcoming us and also telling us all about their opportunity to pick up Elder Warnock in South Africa.  Please keep us informed of any homecomings. We are honored to attend.
