Elder and Sister Black are returning home

On Sunday July 30th, Elder and Sister Black will be speaking in the Neff's Canyon Ward in the Mt. Olympus Stake (which is also our home ward) at 10 am at 4176 Adonis Way in Holladay, Utah.

We hope to see some of our returned missionaries and senior couples on that day. We are hosting a FHE Monday night BBQ a few weeks later for any missionaries that are in the area and able to attend. This will be a nice time to catch up more in depth with Richard and Kathy Black and reminisce with them over the amazing calling we all enjoyed in South Africa.

7 pm at the Dunn's home on Monday August 7th. RSVP if you can join with us. lpdun@mac.com

Summer is in full swing!

Our June ended with the arrival of Christopher Morrill home. It was so fun to meet his family and go to his homecoming events. We wish we could do this for each and every missionary that arrives home. We are there in spirit however.

We love meeting the parents and families of each missionary. The Morrill family is so wonderful and so generous to us.

A week later I found myself at the zoo with all our kids and grandkids. Whiler riding the carousel a cute young girl asked me if I was "Sister Dunn." She recognized me and told me her brother was Elder Warnock. I was so excited and got to meet the other sister and the cute mom and neices and nephews who all miss him.

Here is a picture with some of their grandkids with my Madison and Taggart on the right.

The Warnocks are looking forward to seeing their son and brother in November and are planning a trip over to pick him up. What fun to hear about this.
Another weekend of weddings was upon us at the end of June.

Elder Troy Downs got married in the Bountiful temple on Friday June 30th. His mom and dad are on the right and his two sisters are pictured with us. We were so happy to participate, but sad not to get a picture of them.
On July 1, 2017 we found ourselves at the Ogden Temple again to witness the sealing on Nathan Lefthand to Seiko. They seemed so happy and we were so thrilled to be part fo the sealing and meet all his family members again.

We also got to be with Nathan Henley and Grace, who are scheduled to be married later this month in the Provo Utah Temple on Friday July 21.

Elder lefthand's brother, dad and mom outside the Ogden Temple after the sealing.

It was extra special to learn that Nathan's dad was sealed to his mom one week before the weeding. He was baptized last year while Nathan was still serving in the SAJM. It was an extra sweet day.

It is so wonderful to be able to participate in any event with our beloved returned missionaries. We love being able to be part of their temple sealings and meet their wives. What a great launch to their lives.
